Deleting your Snuumo account
How to delete your account and data completely
Delete it in the app (recommended)
- Open the Snuumo app and go to Settings.
- Open Security and privacy.
- In the Account section near the bottom, tap Delete account and confirm as prompted.
- As soon as you confirm, deletion of your server data (memos, photos, account) begins, and the local data on this device is deleted together with it, without a separate choice. Local data on other devices that are logged in is deleted automatically the next time each such device connects.
If you cannot use the app
- Please send a request to delete your account to support@ssamoksoft.com from the email address you signed up with. We process it without delay after verifying you (by the request being sent from the sign-up email address).
Data that is deleted
- Account, memos, photos and profile: permanently deleted (unrecoverable). If the volume of data is large, the server's clean-up work continues afterwards; once completed, the data cannot be recovered.
- Share links you created and their attachments: deleted together with the account
- Local data stored on devices: immediately on the device where deletion was carried out, and on other logged-in devices the next time each connects
What remains after deletion
- The records below contain no memo content, photos or location information.
- Record that remains | Retention period | Reason
- Withdrawal-verification identifier (account identifier and withdrawal time) | 180 days from withdrawal | To clean up the local data of another device that was still logged in but switched off, when that device connects again
- Deletion job records (account identifier, share token, paths of files to be deleted) | 30 days after deletion is completed | To check for missed deletions and to retry them
- Records the Company is legally required to preserve | The period set by the relevant law (for example, 5 years for records of contracts and withdrawal of subscription under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (전자상거래 등에서의 소비자보호에 관한 법률)) | Legal obligation
- For details, see section 3 (Retention periods and destruction) of the Privacy Policy.
